Lower RGV Population Health Survey
The UTRGV School of Medicine, a member of the UT system Collaborative on Population Health Innovation and Improvement, is sponsoring the Lower RGV Population Health Survey to be conducted in Spring 2018. The purpose of this study is to:
* To assess the mental health status and needs of residents of the Lower Rio Grande Valley (RGV)
* To examine knowledge of and attitudes towards telehealth
* To inform health-related policies, particularly those related to addressing health disparities across the Lower RGV
The study consists of a RDD telephone survey conducted in Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy Counties, as well as an area-based in-person survey administered in randomly selected colonias.
