Survey Research

Survey research is one of the most important methods of measurement in applied social research. The broad area of survey research involves asking a sample of respondents a series of predetermined questions. Surveys may produce data that describe the attitudes, opinions, behaviors and characteristics of a population.

The Center for Survey Research and Policy Analysis works collaboratively to design and implement surveys that balance our client's analytic needs with survey costs. We can assist clients with all facets of survey and public opinion research including:

  • Sample design
  • Survey instrument development and questionnaire design
  • Data collection (In-person, telephone (CATI), mail, or internet surveys)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) phone and field staff
  • Data analysis
  • Report writing and presentation of results
