Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Your poster size should be no more than 36 inches wide by 48 inches tall. Poster Template linked below in the Poster Templates section.
- Posters that are outside these dimensions will not be accepted for display. Space is limited and posters outside these dimensions can interfere in the presentation of other posters.
- ALL Poster Presenters must submit their Final PDF Poster no later than 8:00am Monday February 16, 2026. They will be sent to print to set them up for you in the Exhibit Hall prior to the event. If final poster PDF is not submitted by this date, then it will be the responsibility of the presenting author to print and deliver it to the SOM Research Office prior to the event.
- Presenters must upload their FINAL PDF Poster file to the UTRGV SOM Research Symposium Final Poster Presentations SharePoint site folder.
- If you cannot access the link, email your PDF file to somresearchsymposium@utrgv.edu.
- ALL posters will be evaluated by a panel of judges and the top poster in each academic category will be recognized during the Awards Ceremony.
- Final “Presentation Instructions” will be provided on Wednesday February 18, 2026. It will contain final details on how the posters will be presented and the Judging component.
- About the Poster template, you can modify the color of the top “title” bar and move around the titles/categories, but do not change the dimensions.

- Presenters must upload their Final PPT Presentation by Friday February 20, 2026, to Final Oral PPT Presentations.
- If you cannot access the link, email your PDF file to somresearchsymposium@utrgv.edu.
- All Oral Presentations will be in person at the Symposium. If unable to present in person, let us know by Friday February 20, 2026, at somresearchsymposium@utrgv.edu.
- All videos uploaded to our Symposium virtual site will be available for viewing through Wednesday February 26, 2025, on our ForagerOne virtual site.
- Oral Presentations will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and the top in-person oral presentations in each category will be recognized during the Awards Ceremony.
- Final “Oral Presentation Instructions” will be provided Wednesday February 18, 202 It will include final details on how the in-person oral talk presentations will proceed and more information on the Judging component.
