Program Description
The UTRGV Family Medicine Residency Program provides comprehensive, community-based training designed to prepare residents for the full scope of Family Medicine. Residents have the opportunity to complete clinical rotations at multiple training sites throughout the Rio Grande Valley, gaining experience with diverse patient populations and healthcare settings across the region.
Through inpatient, outpatient, specialty, and community-based experiences, residents develop the clinical knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
