The Family Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley seeks community-minded primary care physicians for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Please submit your application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) before May 19, 2026.

Application Process

  • Online ERAS Application
  • Dean’s Letter for your medical school
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
  • Passing scores on USMLE or COMLEX
  • Medical School Transcript
  • Personal statement detailing your interest

Interviews

Virtual interviews will take place via Thalamus between May 19 through May 29, 2026.
