The UTRGV Office of Research Enhancement invites faculty applications for the 2026 Proposal Development Program, an initiative designed to elevate grant-writing success. This program offers personalized, one-on-one coaching with a professional grant writer, giving you the tools and strategies to craft competitive proposals for major funding agencies.
- Boost Your Funding Success: Work closely with an experienced grant writer to refine your ideas into winning proposals.
- Focused Outcomes: Complete a full proposal ready for submission to a major funding agency by December 1, 2026.
Application Requirements:
- Name, department, and academic rank
- Targeted funding agency/agencies
- Approximate proposal due date
- Estimated budget range
- Description of the proposed research (no more than two pages)
- Indication if this is a resubmission (and relevant discussion)
Deadline:
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Selections will be competitive, and participants will be notified by March 23, 2026.
