Welcome from the Director

On behalf of the Center for Online Learning and Teaching Technology (COLTT), I am pleased to welcome you to the Excellence in Online Learning Conference (EOLC), UTRGV’s annual spring gathering dedicated to advancing innovation and excellence in online and hybrid education. EOLC brings together faculty, instructional designers, academic leaders, and educational partners to explore evidence-based practices, emerging technologies, and strategies that strengthen student engagement and learning outcomes in digital environments.

Participants can expect dynamic presentations, collaborative discussions, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to connect with colleagues committed to high-quality online education across South Texas and beyond.

The next Excellence in Online Learning Conference will be held in Spring 2027 in Brownsville, Texas. Additional details — including the conference theme, proposal submissions, award nominations, and registration information — will be shared as planning progresses.
