Mail and Deliveries

Restaurant / Ready To Eat / Store-to-Door Deliveries   

Front desks and package centers will not accept food deliveries, groceries, or other “store-to-door” items.   

Residents ordering or receiving delivery of food, groceries, or other “store-to-door” items must meet their delivery at the time of arrival. Delivery drivers may not enter residential facilities.   

Food deliveries, groceries, or other “store-to-door” items not picked up within 12 hours may be disposed. Housing and Residence Life is not responsible for items that are missing, opened and/or eaten.  

Package Notification and Pick-Up Procedures

Notifications from carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) indicating that your package has been “delivered” does not mean it has arrived to the residential facilities at UTRGV. 

Heritage, Troxel, and Unity Halls 

Students residing in the residence halls will receive a package notification in their mailbox when their package has arrived to the hall.  Students can pick up their package during the designated pick up hours at the front desks of each residence hall: 

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM.  

Please bring your package slip and VOne Card with you when picking up your package.

Casa Bella

All packages and mail will be checked in at the Residence Life office located in the clubhouse upon receipt. Packages will only be released Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Be sure to present your V OneCard upon pick up. 

The Village Apartments 

All packages, food deliveries, groceries, or other “store-to-door” items will be delivered directly to your apartment door. The Village office will not accept packages on your behalf. The Housing and Residence Department reserves the right to dispose of any perishable food deliveries, groceries, or other “store-to-door” items left outside for more than 12 hours. The Housing and Residence Department is not responsible for items that are missing, opened and/or eaten. 

Mail is delivered to your apartment’s designated mailbox. If you receive mail that is not addressed to anyone living in your apartment, return the mail to the black mailbox outside The Village Apartment office. Keeping mail not addressed to you or leaving it abandoned around the property is against Housing Policy.
