Who We Are Now

The Center for Survey Research was initially established in 1998 by former Dean James Lamar to study and report on issues of local concern in the Rio Grande Valley and to provide training opportunities to students in survey research methods.  Today, the Center continues its mission to provide timely services and technical assistance to both members of the UTRGV community, and to Rio Grande Valley communities, while providing training opportunities, research experience and internships to UTRGV students.
