Participate in a Maximum Timeframe Financial Aid Appeal Workshop!
For students who find their financial aid status reflects a need and option to submit a Maximum Timeframe Financial Aid Appeal, we are here to support your efforts and assist you with your appeal preparation. Maximum Timeframe relates to the number of attempted hours compared to the degree requirements of your chosen degree plan.
We wish to invite you to our 60-minute Maximum Timeframe Financial Aid Appeal One-on-One sessions throughout the semester!
This is an opportunity for you to:
- Learn more about the appeal process, with emphasis on appeal Requirements, Documentation needed and examples of, and Recommendations for the Appeal letter.
- Discuss with your advisor the Maximum Timeframe Financial Aid Appeal and answer any questions you may have about this specific appeal process.
- Review the student’s academic history, degreeworks data, degree plan, and transcripts and accurately complete the advising review form.
- Receive your advisor signed and completed Maximum Timeframe Advisor Review Form (required for Maximum Timeframe Financial Aid Appeal, follow link).
To make your 60-minute appointment, you can go to your EAB Navigate360 login (select “Max Time Frame Advising” as service and Please include COMMENT on box that explains your story), or please contact the Academic Advising Center today to join us for your one-on-one session and confirm your attendance via an Academic Advising appointment.
As you consider signing up for a one-on-one session, please note the following:
- You must be a current undergraduate student
- You must consider documentation to support mitigating circumstances that caused you to exceed the maximum attempted hours
- You must have a clear plan towards completing your degree in a timely manner (presented as documentation on appeal by Maximum Timeframe Advising Review Form and AAC’s Academic Success Plan
- You are planning to submit a Maximum Timeframe Financial Aid Appeal for current semester.
