Asian Studies Program

Minor in Asian Studies

The Minor in Asian Studies will provide a coherent and well-guided pathway for our students to develop academic and research foundation of Asian studies, communicative language proficiency, and cultural understandings. With a variety of courses in this interdisciplinary minor, students will acquire in-depth knowledge of the region and facilitate discussions on critical issues of Asia. It will be an important avenue of access to training of academic, linguistic, and cultural competence to become global-minded professionals in the areas of students’ majors.
