Spanish Translation and Interpreting Minor

At UTRGV’s Translation and Interpreting Programs (TIP), we train translators and interpreters. Our programs include a minor in Spanish Translation. With a total of 6-courses (18 credits), it provides a general introduction to the discipline and requires 6 credits of electives to be chosen among the specialization courses available. This allows for students to concentrate in areas such as Medical Interpreting or Translation Technologies.
