Spanish Translation and Interpreting Major

BA in Translation and Interpreting

We offer the first and most complete BA program in Spanish Translation and Interpreting in the State of Texas.The program's scope is to help future practitioners of the art and science of Translation and Interpreting to play a vital role in shaping the global society of the 21st century. The program will contribute to the development of analytical skills, cultural literacy, linguistic competence, and professionalism. In addition to course offerings in writing and language, the program requires students to complete a thorough translation and interpreting curriculum that is among the most comprehensive in the United States.
