Our office offers internship opportunities to declared majors and graduate students in the Spanish Translation and Interpreting BA and MA programs.

Internship Courses

TRSP-SPAN 4349 Capstone Project/Mini-thesis: This course directs students into research or into translation projects and project management.

Prerequisites: Senior standing in BA Translation Major.

TRSP-6395 Translation Research/Project: Mini-thesis, research or translation project, of a theoretical or practical nature, including but not limited to empirical research, hermeneutical or linguistic analysis, or the translation of a complete literary, academic or technical work.

Students will have the opportunity to work with our team of professional translators and get to know the dynamism of team translation, quality control processes, production control, translation memories, terminology management, editing and proof reading, contributing altogether to a number of translation projects in which our office is regularly engaged in.
