The Translation and Interpreting Office at UTRGV is proficient in rendering different types of texts. Our translation team has a diverse academic and vocational background that covers several disciplines in the arts and sciences. We are committed to producing high-quality material using the most up-to-date technology and translation tools in the market.
The T&iO was originally founded on the Brownsville legacy campus in 2005, in order to provide institutional translation services and a venue for T&I students to acquire hands-on practice in the field. In the wake of the bilingual and bicultural calling of UTRGV, this office became a fully staffed institutional unit that has helped shape the bilingual imprint of UTRGV's website and its external communications.
