Pay Stations
Electronic pay stations have replaced meters on the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses. Pay stations allow visitors and others to park in designated spaces (those marked as park & pay spaces) by using their credit cards.
- To replace outdated analog parking meters
- To make parking easier for visitors and guests by implementing park & pay
- To save time on money collection
- To improve campus parking technology
Visitors and invited guests using park & pay spaces. Students, faculty, and staff should not use the pay stations for their own parking needs. Instead, they should purchase a permit.
The pay stations are located at our Edinburg Campus in Lot E4 and at our Brownsville Campus in Lot B1, south of Sabal Hall.

Visitors should go up to the Kiosk and follow purchasing instructions. Once the marked parking space number is entered, duration is selected, and payment is made, the pay station will print out a receipt. Park & pay does not require receipts to be displayed.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds, so parking is at your own risk. Please ensure to park & pay and not the other way around.
Call the Parking Manager at 665-2739 for issues or problems with the pay stations. For general questions, call the Parking Services office at 665-2738.
