MobilePay Parking Pay Stations - Debit or Credit Card, multiple stations, multiple languages, extend by phone

 

MobilePay spaces allow visitors and others to park in designated spaces (those marked as MobilePay spaces) by simply texting an SMS short code or scan a QR code to access the online payment portal through a web browser.

Mobile Pay Locations:

  • Brownsville: Lot B1 West
  • Edinburg: Lot E4, E7, E8, & E9

 

Who can use these MobilePay spaces?

MobilePay spaces are intended for visitors, invited guests, and those who need short-term or occasional parking. Students, faculty, and staff without a permit may use MobilePay when needed; however, it's not meant to replace a regular permit for daily use. For those parking on campus regularly, purchasing a permit remains the most convenient and cost-effective option.

How does it work?

After parking in a MobilePay space, visitors should make payment following instructions on the sign located in front of the spaces. Once the P-Code on the sign is texted or the QR code is scanned, it will prompt you to click a link. Visitors will be prompted to enter a license plate number, time and payment then confirm Zip Code & click pay.

What if I purchase time and there are no MobilePay spaces?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds, so parking is at your own risk. Please ensure to park & pay and not the other way around.

What can I do if there’s a problem?

Call the Parking Manager at 665-2739 for issues or problems with the MobilePay spaces. For general questions, call the Parking Services office at 665-2738.
