Financial Aid
UTRGV offers various financial aid options such as grants and loans to help make your education affordable. Apply early and plan ahead to get the financial assistance you need. Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is easy and fast at FAFSA. Please include UTRGV on the list of schools you will send your application to by adding our FAFSA School Code 003599. Graduate applicants or students interested in receiving financial aid assistance must have:
- Clear admittance into the graduate program. *Note: Most students on conditional admission do not qualify for financial aid but, please, meet with a Financial Aid Advisor to confirm.
- Must be enrolled for at least 6 graduate hours or more per semester
*Note: International students and students taking courses for professional improvement, certifications and post-bac students are not eligible for federal or state-based financial aid.
