Additional Information:

  • We recommend students apply for financial aid at the same time as the UTRGV Graduate Select Scholarship application. The selection process is competitive, and there are still other opportunities to be awarded grants as a graduate student. It's a good idea to have an application on file should funds be available. Once the application is on file, students can also explore our UTRGV General Scholarships. Find scholarship information HERE.
  • You do not need to apply for a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) to apply or accept the Graduate Select Scholarship.
