Office of Governmental Relations
The Office of Governmental Relations builds and promotes positive relationships with our federal, state and local policymakers. We work with governmental partners and agencies across the country to ensure the priorities of UTRGV are effectively addressed, and enhance the public and governmental support necessary to operate our six Valley-wide locations, which include our three main campuses and our medical school.
Beyond communicating UTRGV’s needs to our elected officials and various governmental agencies at the City, County, State and Federal levels, we also work closely with the Office of Governmental Relations at UT System in Austin and with UT System’s Office of Federal Relations in Washington, D.C.
