The Division of Governmental & Community Relations serves as UTRGV’s liaison to the communities in the Rio Grande Valley by building and promoting positive relationships with federal, state and local policymakers and the public and private sectors. Comprised of four departments- Governmental Relations, Community Relations, Community Engagement and Economic Development and Public Art-we strengthen and promote our university-community partnerships.
