About our Galleries

The UTRGV galleries provide a dynamic space for contemporary art, creative exploration, and cultural engagement throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Through exhibitions showcasing the work of students, faculty, and visiting artists, both established and emerging in their fields, the galleries connect the university community with diverse artistic perspectives and ideas.

The School of Art and Design galleries invite students, faculty, and the broader community to experience original artwork, engage directly with artists, and participate in the cultural life of the university. With rotating exhibitions throughout the academic year, visitors have continual new opportunities to discover exciting art and creative practices.
