Center for Bilingual Studies
The Center for Bilingual Studies (CBS) is part of the Office for Bilingual Integration at UTRGV and works across P-16 contexts to support the multidimensionality of bilingualism. CBS collaborates with university faculty to co-develop research and instructional models that reflect the linguistic and regional experiences of the U.S.-Mexico border, as well as partners with school districts and community organizations to bolster students’ academic trajectories and leverage their professional futures. Center for Mexican American Studies
The Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS) at UTRGV honors and amplifies the Rio Grande Valley’s rich heritage and cultural landscape. Our mission is to deepen understanding and appreciation of the region’s complex histories and lived experiences through education, research, and community engagement. We are dedicated to serving students, faculty, and the wider community by foregrounding the voices, contributions, and realities of Mexican Americans and borderland communities. Translation and Interpreting Office (T&iO)
The Translation and Interpreting Office (T&IO) at UTRGV serves the university's divisions, units and departments by providing high-quality translation and interpreting services.
T&IO also provides customized external translation and interpreting to local, national, and international clients, including private business, non-profits, community members, and other academic institutions, at the standard market rate. Visit the Translation and Interpreting Office
