Technology Resources
The Center for Online Learning & Teaching Technology (COLTT) is partnering with B³ to provide important technological resources for your Spanish or bilingual class.
- Visit the Ask COLTT support page.
- Click on the “Create Case” button.
- A popup titled New Case will appear, with the ticket’s form.
- Add your information to the fields listed below:
i. UTRGV Username
ii. First Name
iii. Last Name
iv. Phone Number
v. Email Address
- Add your information to the fields listed below:

- User Type: Select Faculty/Staff
- Service Type: Select Online
- Request: Select the first option “ Blackboard Support”
- Request Type: Select Course Template Assistance
- Course Name: Enter the course you would like a course template applied to it.
i. Example: ENGL-1301-90L-Spring2022

- Preferred Method of Contact: Select either phone or email
- Case Summary: Enter “Requesting course copy of template”
- Case Details: Enter “Requesting the [ template name] to be copied into my course, ENGL-1301-90L-Spring2022”.
i. Key in the template name found within our Faculty Support webpage. Example: Plantilla de 16 Semanas en Español
The COLTT team has developed a step by step tutorial on how to create Spanish language captions in Panopto. View the tutorial here.
