Facilities Finance and Capital Budgeting
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide financial and reporting services to support Facilities Operations Planning & Construction and to meet the business needs as requested by the Division of Finance & Planning. Our primary focus is to facilitate the internal reporting requirements for capital construction with total project costs that exceed $100,000 and the external reporting requirements for major construction (managed by UT System’s Office of Capital Projects) with total project costs that exceed $10 million.
Services
- Provide monthly financial information to facilities management regarding budgets, encumbrances and reconciled available balances for all capital construction projects.
- Prepare monthly documents for all major construction projects that require reimbursement funding from UT System Administration to Assets Management.
- Provide quarterly reporting to executive management of all major capital construction projects for decision making purposes.
