Sept. 23-27, 2019 Healthy Campus Week

Healthy Campus week Sept 25

Sodexo has partnered with Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) to build healthier environments for university students, faculty and staff.  As health and wellness departments on campus, we can collaborate to show our campus community the healthy environment we have established during Health Campus Week from September 23-27.  A healthy campus provides services for mental health, physical activity, food and nutrition, food security, public safety, student health and faculty/staff health.
This year we would like to collaborate with your department to host a #HealthyCampus event during Healthy Campus Week on Wednesday, September 25.  The Environmental Club at UTRGV will be hosting the Farmers Market near the quad, as well.  The Environmental Club at UTRGV is a group of students who promote the Farmers Market in an effort to bring awareness to sustainability, healthy food, and support the local community.
Our #HealthyCampus event will provide you with the opportunity to engage with students, faculty and staff to promote any services that involve health and wellness.  You are more than welcome to provide activities, flyers and giveaways.
