Expressway Exits

Northbound: Exit at E Freddy Gonzalez Drive or Canton Road

Southbound: Exit at E Freddy Gonzalez Drive if going to VIP and VAF Stadium Permit Parking.

Neighborhood Parking

Please be considerate of local residents and use a ‘safety-first’ mindset when deciding where to park in neighborhoods near Vackar Stadium. Pay special attention to posted signs as some areas may be parked as ‘No Parking’.

Vackar Stadium

Parking at Vackar Stadium is reserved for season ticket holders and other VIPs. If you purchased a season ticket, you were given the opportunity to purchase parking. For more information on obtaining tickets, visit GoUTRGV.com.

UTRGV Community Engagement & Student Success Building (CESS) - ADA/Accessible Parking Lot

The UTRGV Community Engagement & Student Success Building (CESS) parking lot is dedicated to passengers with disabilities, those using ADA mobility devices, those needing special accommodations, and vehicles with ADA placards or plates. It is located on the corner of Freddy Gonzalez Drive and Expressway 69C in Edinburg.

This is a park & ride lot: you can park your car at ADA-dedicated spaces and take a bus to the Vackar Stadium front door. Parking Attendants will help you find your way.

Drop offs are prohibited at the stadium.

 Edinburg CESS Lot to Vackar Stadium

City of Edinburg Municipal Park

Owned and operated by the City of Edinburg, this lot is open to the general public and free of charge. Note that this lot is not dedicated to the football game and may be used by park visitors. The lot has ADA-accessible spaces.

UTRGV Edinburg Campus-Lot E9

Lot E9 is open to the general public and free of charge. Students are encouraged to park at this lot. It is located on the corner of N. Sugar Rd and W. Schunior St in Edinburg. The lot has ADA-accessible spaces. [Google map]

This is a park & ride lot: you can park your car and take a bus to Vackar Stadium. Parking Attendants will help you find your way.

UTRGV Brownsville Campus-Lot B4

Lot B4 is open to the general public and free of charge. Park here to use the bus service to get to Vackar Stadium. The lot has ADA-accessible spaces.

Park & Ride Bus Service

Parking & Transportation Services offers park & ride bus service from off-site parking lots in Edinburg to Vackar Stadium. The service is FREE and open to the general public.

Service begins at the UTRGV Community Engagement & Student Success Building (CESS) and Lot E9 starting from 15 minutes before tailgating starts (11:45 PM for games with a 5 PM kickoff time, and 1:45 PM for games with a 7PM kickoff time) to 1 hour after the game has ended. Simply park your car at these lots and then take the bus to get to the stadium.

Service frequency is continuous, but expect a bus to be at the bus stop about every 20 minutes depending on traffic.

Commuter Bus Service – Brownsville Park & Ride

Need a ride from Brownsville?

Bus service will be available to transport fans from Brownsville to Vackar Stadium from UTRGV Lot B4 located on the corner of FJRM Ave and Tyler St. Park your car here and take the bus for a stress-free travel experience.  [Google map] The service is FREE and open to the general public.

Service begins leaving Lot B4 1.5 hrs before tailgating starts. The last trip departing Vackar Stadium back to Brownsville is 1 hour after the game has ended. Simply park your car at this lot and then take the bus to get to the stadium.

 Brownsville Campus to Vackar Stadium

The Edinburg Municipal Park has been designated as the drop off and pick up location if you’re traveling to the game using a rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft. Service is not allowed within the Vackar Stadium parking lot or along Raul Longoria and nearby streets.

 Ride Share Zone

If you need assistance getting from the Municipal Park to the stadium, we will have orange golf carts (VOLT) available for patrons with disabilities or who need a little help getting to the entrance.

Several mobility options are available for visitors with disabilities attending Vaqueros Football games. 

Driving to the Game (VIP and VAF Permits and Season Ticket Holders) 

If you’re driving your car to the game and have a VIP and VAF permit or are a season ticket holder, there are dedicated ADA spaces next to Vackar Stadium.

Other Options If You’re Driving to the Game 

CESS 

If you’re driving your car to the game and do not have a VIP/VAF permit or season tickets, we recommend parking at the UTRGV Community Engagement & Student Success Building (CESS) parking lot. It’s dedicated to passengers with disabilities, those using ADA mobility devices, those needing special accommodations, and vehicles with ADA placards or plates. 

You can park your car at ADA-accessible spaces and take an accessible bus (with a wheelchair lift) at CESS to the Vackar Stadium front door. Parking Attendants will help you find your way.

Both of these lots will have ADA-accessible parking spaces.  

You can park your car and take an accessible bus (with a wheelchair lift) to S. Raul Longoria Road about 1/3 mile from the Vackar Stadium entrance. Parking Attendants will help you find your way.

Edinburg Municipal Park 

The Park has several lots with ADA-accessible parking spaces.  

You can park your car on the northside lot and take a VOLT cart to the stadium bridge just north of the Vackar Stadium entrance. VOLT carts are ADA-accessible. Parking Attendants will help you find your way.

Taking Ride Share to the Game 

If you’re taking a ride share service to the game, you can be dropped off at the designated location at Edinburg Municipal Park on Sprague Street. 

From there, electric carts marked with our ‘VOLT’ brand will

to the game and have a VIP/VAF permit or are a season ticket holder, there are dedicated ADA spaces next to Vackar Stadium.

Personal mobility devices such as bikes and scooters that are not used for ADA purposes are not allowed at Vackar Stadium or its adjoining parking lot. When using these devices outside of this area, please be mindful of pedestrian safety and operate your device at a slow speed.
