Profiles in Excellence is a great way to spotlight UTRGV students who are making a difference and changing the world. This is a chance to recognize students who have made outstanding contributions to the university and local communities. Undergrads and graduate students may be nominated by faculty and staff based on excellence in academics, athletics, arts, leadership and/or community service.
Nominees must be currently enrolled and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher at the time of nomination. Undergraduate students must have also obtained 45 or more credit hours.
