About Us
The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Facilities Planning Department is comprised of several units that work together in support of the University's mission to ensure student success.
Facilities Planning is under the leadership of Jason Hartley, MBA Vice President for Operations Planning and Construction. This department is in the Division of Finance & Business Affairs, led by Michael Mueller Executive Vice President for Finance & Business Affairs and CFO.
The Department consists of 17 staff members who work in Planning & Construction, Real Estate, and Space Management. The team works on renovation, remodeling and new construction projects, and is involved in all facets of building planning, design and construction, real estate, and space management for all UTRGV owned and leased facilities throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
