UTRGV Family Involvement
UTRGV Family Involvement is dedicated to helping families with their transition into the University by offering support and information. UTRGV Family Involvement offers opportunities for family members to closely partner with the University in learning about services and resources that support our students. We provide access and support through knowledgeable staff, University information, and special opportunities that allow members to stay connected to UTRGV. UTRGV Family Involvement meetings are held during each semester and are offered in English and Spanish.
Family Weekend
Family Weekend provides a great opportunity for family members to visit the University, spend time with their students, connect with other family members, and experience campus life at UTRGV. Events are fun and friendly for all ages.

Family Day
During the spring semester, we invite family members for a fun day of activities to unite our family members and highlight campus pride and tradition.
Family of the Year
The Family of the Year essay contest was created to honor and celebrate the supportive role that family members play in the lives of our students. Family members often go above and beyond to ensure that students have what they need to be successful. The contest allows students to thank their family members for all their love and support.
