All students are members of The Herd.
- Students receive free admission to all home athletic events.
- Student ID required for entry.
- Refer to social media for pre-game and/or tailgate events.
The purpose of the UTRGV Herd is to:
- Foster the UTRGV pride.
- Create a loyal student-fan base.
- Value good sportsmanship
- Cultivate home court advantage.
- Create an energetic atmosphere during a game.
- Provide a creative outlet for students all while making lifelong friends.
