CoBiVa in the News

A newspaper (The Herald) featuring the work of CoBiVa.

On Sunday June 6,   the CoBiVa was featured in the Brownsville Herald! We're very thankful to Ms. Erin Sheridan and   The Brownsville Herald  for the article, which made the front page.

We're very excited about the opportunity to share with the community about the beauty and value of code-switching and bilingualism!

The news article covered the   National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH)  grant awarded to Dr. Katherine Christoffersen (project director, PI), Dr. Ryan Bessett (co-PI, UTRGV), and Dr. Ana Carvalho (co-PI, University of Arizona). You can read more on the project and the receipt of the award in   our own press release  along with the   UA press release  and   UTRGV press release.

Check out the full story from The Brownsville Herald   here.
