Summerlee Foundation Grant

Founded in 1988 by Dallas philanthropist, Annie Lee Roberts, The Summerlee Foundation is a mission-driven, proactive organization with a strong desire to address significant issues in animal protection and Texas history. Since inception, the Foundation has awarded 40 million dollars to grantees.

The Foundation is governed by a seven member board of directors composed of animal and history experts and community leaders. The Summerlee Foundation is a member of Philanthropy Roundtable, Philanthropy Southwest, and Animal Grantmakers.

The Foundation’s Principal office is located at the Caruth Homeplace, 5556 Caruth Haven Lane, in Dallas, Texas. The animal protection program is based in Colorado.The Foundation has been recognized as the Outstanding Foundation by the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
