The very mantra of the CHAPS Program is Community Engagement. We participate in several events throughout the year where we visit local schools, give various presentations to the public, conduct professional development workshops for K-12 educators and support local historical and archaeological programs with efforts to preserve the history of the Rio Grande Valley.
