LSAT Prep Course


The LSAT Prep Course offers complete preparation that goes beyond great classroom instruction and includes realistic practice exams, personalized score analysis, detailed individualized score reports, adaptable course materials, and personalized assignments.

The course also focuses on the law school application portion of the process. Instruction will include strategies and workshops on developing the writing portion of the LSAT, as well as brainstorming, drafting, workshopping, and revising a unique personal statement for law schools.

The course features high-quality instruction and up-to-date materials that focus on the question types, exam format, and strategies for enhancing exam performance. This program is designed for the serious law school candidate who is preparing to take the LSAT exam.

Our comprehensive exam preparation program is effective, convenient, and affordable. The curriculum emphasizes strategic methods and helps students learn to analyze the test methodically and efficiently.

Course materials are included and will be given out on the first day of the course.

Anyone who is preparing to take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).



Note: PEWD program participants should be 18 years or older.

No prerequisites required.

Dr. Michael Jaworski (Logical Reasoning)

Dr. Jaworski earned a BA in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Ohio State University. His experience teaching at the post-secondary level began in 2002 as a graduate student at Ohio State University. In addition to OSU, he has also taught at Ohio University-Pickerington and has been a full-time faculty member at UTPA/UTRGV since Fall 2007. He possesses extensive academic experience in the areas of logic, critical thinking, and ethics. From 2016-2018, he taught the logical reasoning component of the UTRGV Law School Preparation Institute.


Mr. Shoney Flores (Reading Comprehension & Logic Games)

Shoney Flores has been teaching the LSAT since 2014 and teaching writing in multiple genres since 2008. He earned his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas Pan American and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Rhetoric from UTRGV. He has taught law school personal statement writing for students who have been admitted to University of Chicago, Yale, Columbia, UT Austin, Washington University, and others.

Note: If you are applying for the Continuing Education Private Loan to cover the registration fee for a non-credit continuing education program, then please use the UTRGV Continuing Education School Code: 003599. The loan amount you note in the application cannot exceed the open enrollment fee noted on our website. Books will NOT be included in the loan amount. The minimum for the loans must be $500.00. Some service charges may apply.
