Micro-Internships
Micro-Internships allow students to apply to short-term, professional assignments, while also allowing companies to identify and assess highly motivated college students and recent graduate for fit should there be full-time opportunities. Unlike traditional internships, these paid opportunities typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, can be completed year-round, and help students develop career skills while
getting paid.
By participating in a micro-internship, you can:
- Learn and hone the skills employers look for when recruiting for internships and full-time positions
- Explore new industries and potential career paths
- Build tangible relationships with employers by demonstrating your skills and abilities in substantive projects – many employers use micro-internships as a way to connect with potential interns and full-time hires
How it Works
- CREATE A PROFILE: Signing up takes less than 10 minutes - name, school, hobbies, a few other things, and you're good to go.
- SEE MICRO-INTERNSHIPS: Check out details on available assignments, including when they're due and how much you'll be paid.
- APPLY: You decide which opportunities seem most interesting - it's a great way to explore different roles and industries.
- Once you're selected, work directly with the company. Do your best to exceed their expectations as it could lead to a full-time role.
