At the UTRGV Writing Center, you can meet one-on-one with a trained peer tutor for help at any stage of your writing process.
Walk-in sessions are available only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They last approximately 30 minutes and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on tutor availability.
Tutors can help you with:
- Brainstorming, organizing, or developing your writing
- Understanding assignments, audience, and genre
- Using and citing sources
- Incorporating media, such as images or video, into your projects
This form must be completed at the Writing Center kiosk or with assistance from an office aide or tutor. It is only for checking in for a walk-in session and cannot be used to schedule a regular in-person appointment.
