At the UTRGV Writing Center, you can meet one-on-one with a trained peer tutor for support at any stage of the writing process.
Walk-in sessions are available only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Sessions last approximately 30 minutes and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on tutor availability.
Tutors can help you with:
- Brainstorming, organizing, or developing your writing
- Understanding assignments, audiences, and genres
- Using and citing sources
- Incorporating media, such as images or videos, into your projects
Please note: Do not submit this form before arriving at the Writing Center or while traveling to the Center. Complete it only after you have arrived and a staff member has confirmed that a tutor is available to assist you.
