Internship Program
The Internship program at the Office for Sustainability opens the window for undergraduate students of all backgrounds with a great passion for making an impact in achieving sustainable efforts across campus and their communities! Our interns connect collaborate with each other and their academic peers to create awareness and educate others on what it means to be sustainable on and off campus. Through collaborative efforts, interns are primarily focused on learning problem-solving skills, sharpening their social outreach skills and educate others about the efforts being made across both campuses in regards to achieving sustainable efforts through a variety of different methods and media. Interns work in a hands-on environment with other sustainability leaders that provides a rich learning experience allowing them to gain networking opportunities and build their leadership potential by the time they are ready to graduate and pursue greater opportunities. Internships are awarded to those students who share a great passion for sustainability and meet all academic criteria requirements needed to participate in a UTRGV Student Employment Initiative (SEI).
