Notes

Per diem rates are evaluated and adjusted annually based on the cost of animal care per cage. Projections for the next year will be communicated mid-fiscal year.
When submitting estimates for grants, calculate a rate increase of 10% annually.
Technical Support and Veterinary fees apply when used for non-clinical support.
Fiscal Year (FY) starts the preceding September 1st and ends on August 31st.
Research-approved medications purchased by LAR will incur 5% admin charge or $5, whichever is less.
Mileage for animal transport is calculated at the IRS mileage rates. Additional fees may be incurred for animal handling (time) and packaging.
Reservation requests made within less than 24 hours cannot be guaranteed.
