Notes
- Per diem rates are evaluated and adjusted annually based on the cost of animal care per cage, projections for the next year will be calculated mid-fiscal year.
- When submitting estimates for grants, calculate a rate increase of 10% annually.
- Technical Support and Veterinary fees apply when used for non-clinical support.
- Fiscal Year (FY) starts the preceding September 1st and ends on August 31st.
- Mileage for animal transport is calculated at the IRS mileage rates. Additional fees may be incurred for animal handling (time) and packaging.
