Research Assistantships
The MECIS Center is comprised of undergraduates and graduate students guided and supervised by a team of 14 faculty professors ranging in experience from civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, electrical and computer engineering, manufacturing and industrial engineering, physics, and education. Every student involved with the group receives specialized learning and training opportunities in one or more of the three research subprojects on autonomy, sensors, and artificial intelligence. Involvement in these projects provides students exposure to research by having an active role in the improvement and advancements of mature technology or in the creation of innovative technologies for cyber-physical infrastructure systems. Collaborating professors provide support, guidance, knowledge, and wisdom every step of the way.
