The University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth would like to share an online faculty and preceptor development opportunity with consortium members. The UNTHSC Department of Interprofessional Education and Practice is seeking participants from all health professions to register for their development series, in which participants can earn a Certificate of Recognition and Distinction in Interprofessional Practice Education and a Microcredential in Interprofessional Practice Education.

Virtual Master Training Course

November 12, 2021 | 8:30 AM - 12:25 & 1:15 - 4:30 PM CT

The TeamSTEPPS® (Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety) Master Training Course is an interactive train-the-trainer course that prepares participants to plan, teach, implement, and sustain TeamSTEPPS® fundamentals. This course produces Master Trainers, who will be trained to go back to their respective institutions and offer TeamSTEPPS® training and certification. Approximately 6 hrs of online pre-work must be completed at least 10 days prior to the virtual training.


With funding and support from the Texas Health & Human Services Texas Targeted Opioid Response ( https://txoti.org/), we are now able to offer complimentary registration and CEs for our May 11th virtual event titled Building Connections to Interprofessional Collaboration: Innovations in Substance Use and Harm Reduction Pedagogy . You won't want to miss this opportunity for hands-on workshops on innovations in IPE programming focused on opioids, substance use, and/or harm reduction in addiction. Please share with as many people as possible to take advantage of this unique opportunity to advance interprofessional education and health equality.
