Student Resources

Makeup exams are authorized by your instructor. They must submit an electronic or hard copy to our office and can only be completed during makeup exam office hours. Please make sure you allow yourself sufficient time to complete the exam.

Schedule

  • Monday: 9:00am-11:30am, 1:30pm-4:30pm
  • Thursday: 9:00am-11:30am, 1:30pm-4:30pm

Guidelines

  1. Must present a photo ID.
  2. Cell phones, laptops and tablets are not permitted.
  3. Backpacks/purses must be placed at your feet or away.
  4. Department will not provide scantrons or pencils.
  5. Only students taking the tests are allowed in the room.
  6. Your instructor must note any special accommodations.
  7. You are not allowed to use any materials or references unless it is indicated by the instructor.


NOTE: If the makeup exam hours conflict with your student/work schedule, please contact your instructor to accommodate you. For Brownsville makeup exam hours, please call 956-882-8260.

Request For Increase in Maximum Course Load Form – This form is required if you are needing to take over 18HRS during the fall/spring semesters or over 6HRS during each summer session. Please meet with your academic advisor and have them send the form to cj@utrgv.edu

Advisement is offered solely through the Academic Advising Center for all undergraduate classifications (FR-SR). Please contact them for all your academic needs including clearance for graduation.
