Biography

Dr. Mohsen Amjadian is an Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering and the Director of the Intelligent Dynamical and Energy-Efficient Advanced Systems (IDE2AS) Lab in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). Prior to joining UTRGV, Dr. Amjadian was a post-doctoral fellow at the City University of New York (CUNY) from 2019 to 2021, where he conducted research on the application of electromagnetic energy harvesting systems in transportation infrastructures. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from CUNY in 2019, a master's degree in Earthquake Engineering from the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES) in Tehran, Iran, and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Razi University in Kermanshah, Iran.
