Biography

Dr. Jungseok Ho received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering in 2006 from The University of New Mexico at Albuquerque in the area of surface channel hydraulics and environmental engineering. During his doctoral study, he developed numerical/physical modeling techniques to predict hydraulic impacts on the Rio Grande due to the proposed diversion structure. Dr. Ho spent years in post-doctoral research in are of channel routing modeling and hydraulic engineering consulting before he joined UTRGV's Civil Engineering Department in 2010, where he taught water resources and environmental engineering.
