About

Dr. Gasser Ali joined the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) after receiving his Ph.D. in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T). Dr. Ali’s background is rooted in the construction engineering and management domain and expands into broad multi-disciplinary research including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), distributed solar generation and wholesale power markets, and computer modeling of complex System-of-Systems simulations.
