The Rio Grande Science and Arts (RiSA) Festival celebrates science through a wide variety of art forms in the bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural community of Brownsville, Texas. The 2015 RiSA Festival community events will be held Saturday, November 7 at Linear Park in Brownsville. The Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy (CGWA) at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) is a NASA and NSF University Research Center leading the effort to host an annual community science festival in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
