Biology Club

Mission and Purpose

The purpose of the Biology Club is both literary and educational. We will strive to address, achieve, and provide the following:

  • Confer distinction for high achievement in biology in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies
  • Provide cultural stimulation and promote interest in biology for UTRGV students, and for the surrounding community
  • Foster all aspects of excelling in the discipline of biology
  • Promote exemplary character and good fellowship
  • Provide interaction for members with professionals in various fields of biology
  • Participate in community service projects
  • Exhibit high standards of academic excellence
