Dear UTRGV Family:
Please join me in offering our most heartfelt condolences to the Uvalde community for the unimaginable tragedy that occurred there Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends affected by this incident.
Since this happened so close to home, please be aware that members of our own campus community have personally been impacted by this event. Let us all support them during this difficult time.

- For students, confidential support for personal issues or concerns is available at the Counseling Center; Office for Advocacy & Violence Prevention; Student Life and Dean of Students office; Center for Diversity and Inclusion; and SOM Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity.
- For faculty and staff, confidential support for personal issues or concerns is available through Human Resources in cooperation with the UT Employee Assistance Program, the Office for Advocacy & Violence Prevention, and the SOM Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity.
- Reporting Options for all (not confidential): University Police and the Office of Institutional Equity & Diversity.
