To sign up for UTRGV New Student Orientation you must be admitted as an incoming freshman (first-time in college) or transfer student and have activated your UTRGV email address.
The dates you see on the reservation system are the ones available to you.
For students graduating/who have graduated from High School who have not enrolled in an institution of higher education after graduation.
For students moving to UTRGV from a different institution of higher education to continue pursuing their undergraduate degree.
Freshman or Transfer students with F-1 Visas take classes in the United States.

Submit TSI Scores, unofficial college transcripts, Vaccine Records, Etc.
For high school students newly admitted to the Dual Credit Program.
All new students under the age of 22 must submit evidence of receiving the bacterial meningitis vaccination (administered within the past five years) before they can enroll. Students will not be allowed to register without providing proof of meningitis vaccination or exemption. Please bring documentation to your scheduled orientation session for review.
UTRGV will have a limited number of vaccines available at each orientation session. The cost of the vaccine will be added to your student bill.
A $75.00 non-refundable, non-transferable orientation fee will be added to your student account 24 hours after your reservation. Cancellation is required at least three days before your date, or you will be charged the orientation fee. Students who do not attend orientation but enroll in classes will still be charged the New Student Orientation fee and will be responsible for completing the orientation requirement.
