The GVD offers you the opportunity to:
- Explore and learn about the world.

- Understand world problems and have the skill set to contribute to solving those problems.

- Increase confidence, curiosity, empathy, resilience, and assertiveness.
- Open up more career choices and be more attractive to future employers.

In order to earn the GVD you will need to earn at least 8 points by participating in some of the following: global courses, education abroad, language proficiency, global scholarly work or forums, and campus activities. After obtaining a minimum of 8 points you will attend an International Study Programs (ISP) capstone seminar.
